What to know - Yoga etiquette
Walk-ins welcome. No need to reserve; just come in 5 to 15 minutes before the class to sign in. Keep in mind that he door is locked during class. The door opens 15 minutes before class. If the door is locked; please wait until class ends and the door opens. We have FREE Childcare; learn more..
- Please sign in at the front desk every time you take class even if you are late.
- Please always let the teacher w if you have injuries or any health issues including pregnancy.
- Pregnant students who have been practicing yoga for a at least 1 year can take any beginner friendly class. Always remind the teacher that you are pregnant.
- You can rent a mat for $2, you can also buy one at the studio or you can bring your own mat.
- Please turn off or completly silence your phones at the studio. No vibrate please (we can hear that too).
- Try not to be late or eave early since it is disruptive to other students. Please be as quiet as possible entering the room.
- Kindly take your shoes off by the entrance before entering the yoga room.
- Please always listen to your body and never do more than your body can handle. Always practice inversions safely by the wall and with teacher's help. Do not practice inversions if you are in your menstrual cycle or if you have high blood pressure.
- Teachers use hands on adjustments; if you do not want to be touch, please let the teacher know.
- Please do not apply perfume or lotions just prior to class. Some students have odor sensitivities and/or allegies.
- We are not responsible for lost items at the studio. Please don't forget your belongings and bring valuables in the yoga room.
- Avoid eating a big meal before class (a small snack might be OK)
- Drink plenty of water!
- In consideration to others please shower before class; remember: clean sweat is better than dirty sweat.
- There are no showers in the studio. You can change your clothes in the massage room or restroom.
- We sell water for $2
- We provide you with props (blocks, blankets, straps). No need to bring that.
- There is no judgement; just have fun!

I am new to yoga. Which class should I take?
If you are in good physical shape; you can take any class. If you have injuries, limited mobility, chronic illness and are not used to exercising; then you should take the gentle class.
I am new, should I register before class?
You have the option to register before class but it is not necessary. Walk-ins are welcome. If you are new please arrive 5 minutes before class to register.

The front door is locked during class. We open the door 15 min. before and after each class. If you come and the door is locked; look at ur class schedule to see when the door opens.

Is yoga a religion or a cult?
No, yoga is not a religion or a cult. Yoga is accepting of any religions. Our purpose is to unite people though the practice of yoga. Our studio has a non-cult approach to yoga. We have no idols and no glorified teachers; no egos.
Can I do yoga if I am not flexible?
Yes! Yoga increases flexibility; but it is not a requirement to be flexible. Just do your best without hurting or judging yourself.
Is yoga just for women?
No, yoga is for all; women, men, children and anything in between. Our studio welcomes everyone!
Why do we chant OM?
OM (Aum) is a sacred sound or mantra that is believed to carry all of the sounds of the universe. Chanting Om helps us calm the mind and connect with ourselves and the universe.
What should I wear?
There is no judgement. It's not a fashion show; just wear comfortable clothes.
Is there an expiration date for class passes?
Yes; Usually is 1 year expiration unless otherwise specified.
What does "Coba" mean?
Coba is an ancient spiritual Mayan city in Mexico.
What is your refund policy?
We do not accept refunds for class packages. We are glad to accept any refunds or exchanges of unused retail merchandise within 30 days of purchase, If a workshop is canceled or rescheduled; we can offer you a refund or store credit.
What is your privacy policy?
We do not share or sell your information to anyone. Any financial information is 100% secure. If you wish to be removed from our email list; please just follow the link "remove me" on the email.
Do you have gift certificates?

Is this Hot yoga?
We are not a hot yoga studio. The temperature is set to 75 degrees. This helps you increase flexibility and detox your body. Our yoga room is never cold. It is not a good idea to practice yoga in a really cold room. Most people sweat during class by building internal heat and using their muscles. Sweating is very good for your health; it helps cleans the body.
