What is Trapeze Yoga?
Using the Yoga Trapeze, we practice yoga poses to create traction in the spine, deep stretching, safe inversions, backbends, and upper body strength. The class is led by a certified Yoga Body Trapeze instructor. It is a 1-hour class for one person plus a guest. The 1-class option is only available on the first visit, as the Yoga Trapeze should be practiced more regularly to maximize its benefits, which include creating traction in the spine, allowing the vertebrae to lengthen, and reducing back pain. It also strengthens and stretches the body. The class is suitable for all levels, and no experience is necessary. The Trapeze is at the height of your hips, so it is very safe as you are not too high up in the air. It also has additional benefits compared to mat yoga, as it includes motions that are not possible to achieve in a regular mat class. This class is not recommended for pregnant students.
